431 DEN incorporated a contemporary addition at the rear of an existing 1940 Colonial house.  So while the front of the house remained in-tune with the neighborhood, the new addition allowed the owners the contemporary open floor plan that they were looking for and the ability to open up the living area and chef's kitchen to the exterior backyard space for an elegant flow between inside and out while entertaining.
